EN (World Premiere)
Choreography by Jessica Lang
Music by Jakub Ciupinski
Lang’s 100th ballet – and her first for Ailey – takes its title from the Japanese word “en” which has multiple meanings: circle, destiny, fate, or karma. This celebratory ensemble work is about coming full circle, and features an original score by Lang’s frequent collaborator, the electronica composer Jakub Ciupinski.
